I like it better with FORD on the front than BRONCO. The BRONCO text somehow looks crowded.

An appeal to authority fallacy would apply if I was suggesting that someone who calls themselves an authority disagreed with you.
I asked you what made you qualified to comment on logo design - primarily because I wanted to understand where you’re coming from here ... are you just stating an opinion or trying to make…
.
As a Mustang enthusiast, this is the same reason that I’m disappointed GM is getting rid of the Camaro.
The Camaro’s visibility was / is crap, but it kept the Mustang honest and forced it to improve more than it would have had it not existed.
Mustang has almost always been slightly less good at the track and way better…
I’m curious what your background is to make you an authority on logos.
Have you studied design at all?
We asked 13 individuals (snow-balling technique) who considered themselves experts on cars to rate the status values of each the 30 car makes
Most engines are louder than you “hear” .. I wonder if Ford skimped on sound insulation under the hood. My Fusion has a fair bit of insulation under the hood to quiet things down.
I don’t really care about noise when the motors done 220k without complaint.
Ford was wrong to abandon their car lineup completely. They’re just writing off people like me who have loved Ford cars for years.
Where are we supposed to go? We’re not going to automatically buy Ford SUVs just because cars don’t exist. I have no need / desire for an SUV even if that’s what most of the market wants.
I…
Investors always say they’re about long term but they aren’t.
You’re right, Ford did post a profit ...
That would have been the base 2.5L you drove then. I have the same motor in my Fusion. Slow but extremely reliable.
Good news: Jalopnik would like it.
Bad news: Almost no one would buy it.
Enthusiasts don’t think like most car customers.
I own a 2010 Fusion.
220k on it, still going strong on original engine and 6F35 transmission.
Great car - extremely reliable and cheap to maintain.
It’s too bad Ford didn’t use the 6F35 on the Focus.
You the like J-Body and you’re complaining about Fords being shoddily built ... wow.
Ah - I see what you’re getting at now.
More like the structure of: “I have degree X so therefore Y is true ... because I say so.”
Yeah, that’s an appeal to authority. And if he said that, I’d agree.
I’m not so sure that is the argument being made by Newman though.
It seems more like:
“I have physics and engineering knowle…
I disagree that it doesn’t mean anything in the context of this argument.
Newman is worth about $50 million the last time I checked.
Yes, /s would have been helpful.
I think it’s a combination of excuses and legitimate hurdles ... changing from a turbo encabulator to an encabulator turbo is tough work.
I believe they’re saying this in the sense of building the house’s framing before the foundation, for instance.
I think it’s a bad analogy regardless, but they definitely didn’t mean it in the sense you took it.
The margin of error on this post is quite high.
Because my current car still runs and despite being a car enthusiast, I’m a fan of living within my means rather than gravitating towards whatever shiny thing seduces me at that time.
Sorry, Detroit.
