Marvel’s obsession with committing genocide over and over again is more than a bit unsettling at this point. With how often its come up its seeming like the message that Marvel is trying to send is less ‘genocide bad’ more ‘minorities aren’t allowed nice things and if you start to get happy we’ll kill you all off’.

This show felt so cheap.

I really wish the president turning on the skrulls happened early and having THAT play out while Gavik, G’iah and Fury duked it would have made this better.

Christ they were setting this up since the end of Captain Marvel and No Way Home. how did they mess this up?

Finally so are they going to explain Ross? Last we saw

“What they’re asking for us RIDICULOUS! Yes, I do make tens of millions of dollars I won’t do anything with for doing fuck all almost every day of the year, but these people are RIDICULOUS! I mean, if I have to pay them more I MIGHT GET A PAY CUT!!! How do you expect me to buy another yacht or afford my private jet if

Can we at least shit on Secret Invasion?

This. 100%.

Cruise is such an interesting star.

Yep, this is a pretty horrible and indefensible write-up. Especially that headline too, making it sound like “It is what it is” is some sort of statement from the wife when its nothing more than an offhand comment from a third party describing the wifes experience of learning about everything.

why does this author seem more upset about the wife not knowing than you know, the man murdering all those people....? good grief, y’all. unless we find out otherwise, she’s a victim too.

This feels kind of needlessly shitty and mean. How do you want a person to react to the news that their spouse is a serial killer?

should be filed under “it’s not in the text, so figure it out yourself.”

This is an interesting take, because I played the game on release and remember all of the press and all of the discussion and these seem to miss 99% of what annoyed people.

Yeah, it doesn’t seem like like a good idea if the audience thinks, “hmmm, maybe those fascists were right...”

Before Endgame, I was hooked on all things MCU. I don’t know why after Endgame I am losing so much interest. I’m trying to watch this show and keep up but I don’t really care that much anymore. Is it MCU fatigue or are the stories just not as good anymore?

So... does anyone else have a problem with the overall theme of “immigrants are literally replacing us?” This whole story line seems like something Richard Spencer could nod his head along to and say, “See, Marvel gets it!” It just seems weird that a show with a central premise that runs so closely to neo-nazi

How do you “disagree” with the existence of a person?

Lol why not just sing a song called “sun-down town” and be done with it?

It’s wild to me that the Executives decided to pick a fight with people who are literal household names, who are popular and well liked with the general public and who are incredibly skilled at presenting speeches and performances that are designed to get emotional responses from audiences.

As you mention, there are hundreds of scripted shows, and presumably several dozen of them are quality. I’ve all but entirely automated my job, and I can’t keep up with them. For someone like Alan Sepinwall, it is his job, and he’s made a point of saying he can’t keep up with all of them. For people in the Television

My stance is I don’t really care what the Academy does, and we should just ignore it.
