If there’s one thing I know about the guy who masterminded the incredibly successful and profitable Infinity Saga, it’s that he has no idea what he’s doing!

Cue the whiny “you can’t even criticize the movie without being labelled homophobic” from all the homophobes review bombing the movie.

If it helps, remember that randomly and transiently review bombing a genre film for having principals who aren’t white dudes is almost certainly the peak of these absolute losers’ lives.

The tone of this article matches the knee-jerk, directionless hate the documentary seems to be digging into; instead of taking a minute to answer the self-posed questions of “why? So what?”, so many of us just announce our distaste for something. Much of American culture and the media cycle revolve around anger and

To be honest, I find this modern fascination with True Crime and serial killers to be quite noxious overall. Partly because of what Isbell says, that the proliferation of these stories are clearly influenced by people seeing the opportunity to make a lot of money off stories that aren’t owned by anyone(though morally

It doesn’t rise to the same level of gravitas or humor of some of these other quotes, but I’ve always loved JEJ’s line reading in ROTJ for “...where is that shuttle going?” It’s the only time in the whole trilogy he sounds truly stumped, as though he can’t believe the rebels would be so audaciously STUPID to sneak a

Some of the comedy ones, both intentional and unintentional:

I think the main issue with the series is that they’re trying to adhere to many of plot and character beats of the book but they’ve changed the dynamic of the main characters, most obviously in the character’s ages, so much that the show’s character motivations seem all over the place.

The challenge is that the producers (somewhat understandably) likely believe that viewers have limited interest in court intrigue so they can only have an episode or two go between major battles/bloodshed. So they’re speeding through all of this stuff which definitely is detrimental to character development.

It feels like the writers/showrunner assumed the viewers would find that boring because there would be less violence and sex, but I would have loved to actually see those 10 years. Maybe they really didn’t count on a Season 2 renewal.

However, it did provide fans with a spin-off cartoon series

You don’t wanna rewrite that headline so that it doesn’t suggest allegations against Matthew McConaughey?

“then that is a bigger problem...”

Do people actually believe that Law & Order in any way represents reality? Because if enough of them do, then that is a bigger problem than any TV show depicting heroic cops.

Usually I don’t appreciate the snark around here but I totally understand why you would be attacking a website that was “floating a lot of odd language in its coverage” or being “weirdly reticent” to acknowledge something obvious.

Seems you’re not familiar with Sam’s process for watching Marvel shows.

Pretty soon here you guys might be better off transcribing the whole podcast instead of continue to write article after article about it.

List the people with names who actually died in the Game of Thrones episode The Long Night vs people who should have died because they were being swarmed by zombies with no possible way out but then the camera cuts away and then cuts back later and they’re fine!

Just because a show doesn’t go full Game-of-Thrones on its cast, doesn’t make the writerscowards”. It’s just a different genre of TV.

I was really annoyed by what they did with Joyce. It was like they decoyed her away with busy-work. It made her look like such a disengaged parent, when her devotion was such a huge part of her character.
