Can someone sell me why buying Hogwarts Legacy is making a bigger statement than literally anything else I purchase? I am not a leftist, but there is this concept of “No ethical consumption under Capitalism” and this I very much believe. Pretty much everything I buy is supporting something I would find unethical, why

We are seeing the beginning’s of Ai-Generated art, I think it will get more “creative” overtime.

It’s not so much uncaring, it’s just an acknowledgement of the direction the world is going. The skill cap for art has decreased with tech so it was obvious that it would only be a matter of time before tech started creating art. Pair that with the uncaring consumer minded culture we have where art is already just

I can see that as being a major problem, NFTs was bad enough with stealing content, now you can have an algorithm do the same thing.

I’ve seen some trending on Twitter that I enjoyed.

In the end, it’s all about the consumer and what they want. Most people who consume art do it on a very shallow basses and probably have no idea who created any one piece. They are not gonna care if the art they have an interest in is created by John or i350.v1

Are we really having a “They took our jobs” with Ai and artist? I don’t see the problem. If a piece of art moves me in someway, I don’t really care who or what the artist is.

No idea what a fair wage is here, but like hell I’m not getting Bayonetta 3 on opening day.

That is why I hope the term “Regressive Liberal”. A term that covers so-called progressives who are trying to sterilize universities and makes the internet a safe-space with censorship and trigger-warnings. To many people shut down when someones uses SJW, deciding that the person is a troll or they just don’t get the

This is the power of video games. Any medium could have portrayed the No Russia scene, but video games are unique in the emotions they can give you. Instead of just a viewer, you become a participant and that is a very different experience; to me a deeper one.

There is a stupid amount of people on social media saying stuff like” Woohoo! another bigot down”, because of some innocuous shit he said about ethics. That is something that can be linked to GamerGate and they eat babies so TB eats babies and deserves what he gets. Fuck people.

What does “program that he had no contribution in making.” have to do with anything? Also he was paid to be an entertainer. I don’t see what he did as being any worse then those guys who make troll vids. Ones cheating for entertainment value the other is making people feel like shit for entertainment value.

To those who are on the” Entertainment is not required to live” bandwagon. Have you ever worked 70+ hours a week were your days are work, sleep, work with almost no entertainment or luxury? Life without distractions is a miserable existence.

I got a refund on ARK: Survival Evolved after one and half hour of play. My reason was that the game wasn’t for me and I only tried it, because a refund was an option.

I doubt that the system will be exploited in any serious way, but I can see the concern. My reasoning is that Pirating a game takes literally nothing, if you are going to steal a game why not do that?

I’m not sure it would matter as long as fans got to finish Gordon’s story, but if not there would be hell to pay.

Wow! The escalated quickly. And no it’s not, but you know that. There is a clear difference between child porn, which is both morally and legally wrong and and a collectible.

I like this. People accuse GG of something( like harassment) then it is GG, because it benefits GG. There is not possibility that is third party trolls. Then when someone in GG is Doxxed, Swatted or threatened with a bomb, it must be third party trolls.

Except that’s not the transaction here most of the time. This would be a guy standing outside of Pizza Hut offering people the addition of his home made dipping sauce with a tip jar.

I don’t think the majority of people that are against paid modes are, because they don’t value designers.(at least the majority) You look at paid modes and see a bright future. I and many others look at what Steam was offering and saw a bleak one. One were the toxic anti-consumer parts of Steam came into nickle and
