@someToast: According to the documentary Welcome to Macintosh, Apple didn't really need the money; it was a marketing idea. It made people think "Apple Computer (Apple Computer changed its name to Apple, Inc in 2007) mustn't be going out of business anytime soon if Microsoft is willing to invest $150 million in it."

Sorry but I don't understand your dialect. For you see, I'm on a Mac. #windows

@Phoshi: That's a very good way of looking at it. #dock

@Springo: You would need to include Snow Leopard in that, too. #dock

I wonder how it performs on carpet. #ropidrobot

@1112: Setup completes the entire install then, after the final restart, it asks you for the product key. You can just uncheck the "Activate now" checkbox and then click next. It'll boot to Windows afterwords. #upgrade

@1112: I did the registry hack and it was able to activate. I won't be sure if it works until 30 days from yesterday, no? #upgrade

@neely615: Under your avatar/picture/icon there you should see a very small pencil icon. You click on that to edit your post. The downside is you have to re-enter all of your HTML tags. If the pencil doesn't appear, reload the page and then it will be there. You have a limited time to edit your comments.

@MikeURL: I had a problem with downloading the .iso from the Giz link. Fortunately I had already downloaded the files and I used an article from Lifehacker to create my own install DVD.

@neely615: Bah. I had a nice post but then I realized that I misread your post. I apologize. Carry on.

I used the Microsoft Ultimate Steal website to purchase the Win7 Pro 64-bit upgrade to install on my MBP using Bootcamp.

@MikeURL: I downloaded the Win7 Pro 64-bit for $30. When you get to the key part, you can uncheck the "Activate now" part and continue booting. #upgrade

@orlo: Thank you. I was thinking that if I'm not satisfied with my level of understanding after the course, then I'll retake it. #openthread

I'm taking trigonometry and am struggling with it.
