Why do female candidates have to be “perfect” and yet we are fine with electing imperfect men all the time? You need to really self examine that internalised misogyny, and I’m not even being snarky when I say that.

Yes but that’s not how presidents are elected in the US, unfortunately.

Show me where I’m supporting Biden? I’m saying there’s an issue of Bernie’s supporters aren’t showing up to vote and that seems to point to moderates being the majority and/or the segment of the Democratic Party that will show up to vote. All I care about is getting rid of trump, but you can’t do that if people don’t

How is stating a fact advocating for Biden?

Dude, I’m not even american so I don’t vote in this country. You’re taking your anger out on the wrong person and making a whole lot of assumptions about what I believe on based on the fact that I pointed out young voters didn’t bother showing up to vote during the Super Tuesday primaries. Get a grip.

That’s a very impassioned paragraph lol. I’m not american, so I don’t vote here, I just live here. And Warren was my pick, so your assumptions about my beliefs are incorrect. And it still doesn’t change the fact that Bernie’s largest support base (under 29s) didn’t show up to vote on Super Tuesday. I’m so sorry that

I don’t disagree but unfortunately the majority of the electorate is made up of idiots and/or poorly informed people, and some awful people - hello, Trump is president! - and that’s a reality you can’t just ignore because you don’t like it. Your contempt won’t make these people stay home and usher in the era of

I agree. But it would be a start, and the bare minimum to bring the US in line with the rest of the world since it’s one of only 7 countries where Election Day isn’t a national holiday.

I’m not american either, I just live here, and I agree with you the system is broken. Personally I think election days should be a public holiday Or at least held in Sunday’s which I think would go a long way in making it easier and less of a chore for people to participate.

Lol what’s my country? And nice nationalist argument by the way

A) not even american, so I don’t get to vote in the US, I just live here

Exactly. Before Super Tuesday I genuinely could not decide if the best strategy for the democrats to beat Trump was a moderate or Bernie, because maybe Bernie could get young people and people who don’t normally participate in the process out to vote in sufficient numbers. Super Tuesday answered my question.

But explain to me why young people who are so vocal on social media don’t actually show up for their man Bernie? Even as they accuse the media and DNC of conspiring against their man?

Why would I do that? Black voters - especially older black women - are the backbone of the Democratic Party. The youth vote, however, is notoriously unreliable worldwide. They make a lot of noise and then don’t actually bother showing up. It’s politics 101.

Lol I’ve never lived in the suburbs a day in my life ;)

I don’t disagree but then do you see why political parties would rather hedge their bets on reliable older voters than on the unpredictable yoof?

I was a Warren fan and it’s a moot point anyway since I’m not Americans s can’t vote in the US, I just live here, so I don’t have a horse in this race. So it has nothing to do with who my preferred candidate is. And actually before Super Tuesday I wasn’t sure if the smart choice to beat trump was a moderate or Bernie,

I mean, am I wrong though?

It’s called pragmatism.

So the next few months are gonna be all about the giant conspiracy against Bernie? I’m bored in advance.
