Uh, yep. The stock would fall to normal car company levels and stay there, but the brand would be better off in the long run is my guess.

Remember when Tesla touted their used resale value by guaranteeing a certain residual amount? This is basically the opposite of that, they are going to ruin the used value of their cars doing this. Your X you bought last week is now $13k less valuable even if you have not taken delivery yet! 

Can you imagine having bought one a week ago? It’s one thing for that pair of AirPods you bought last week to now be on sale for $50 less, but thirteen thousand dollars is on a whole other level of buyer’s remorse.

Vegas is downright sleazy. Try to walk on the strip and you have to dodge these sleazy men handing out fliers promoting ‘fresh new girls’. Try to explain that one to your 9 year old girl. The Strip used to be a really fun place to walk around, back in the late 80s - early 90s before the mega-casino-resorts took over everything. it wasn’t as big or congested, and it was possible to cross a street without navigating a maze that’s designed to funnel you into the adjacent casino instead of where you want…

Also one outside DC, for east coasters. And Udvar-Hazy is a very cool museum. Plus it has a tower where you can watch Dulles flight operations (depending on the runway in use).

Haven’t been to that one, but the Atlantis exhibit at the Kennedy Space Center Visitor’s Center in Cape Canaveral, FL, blows me away every time I go there.

I think the 3 and Y are still a good proposition for the price, at least if you don’t mind the quirks and ignore Tesla’s attempts at letting your car murder you.

The Model S is a seriously nice car. I find the rest of the Tesla offerings bland and overpriced for what they are. The interiors of the 3 and Y are soooo bad. The X has those dumb ass doors and looks like a swollen tick that is due to pop.
