I had the 93 version of this car. It was a hand me down after I graduated from HS. I put that car through so much and it still ran strong. Countless trips between SD and LA with a 10000W amp and 12 in sub blasting the 6 years I drove it, gunning it back and forth between school and work.  200+ on the odo and 13 years

Agree. I drive a mid size SUV and in their eyes, I am wasteful and I should be in a prius, EV, or just walk or bike. But they also don’t know I work from home 2 days, and the other 3 I take the train and company provided bus for my 54 miles round trip commute.

Likely candidate to get it installed.

So they put 3G in a 2018?!?  LTE rolled out back in 2012 and then in 2014, most carriers were already offering 4G.

Can you buy one of these and then put it in, say, a Pacifica?

100% agree with you. For $53K, look at the Polestar interior. I know, apples to oranges, but still, the price range is the same.

I have a $50K Odyssey so I get it for a van. But this is a car and like the article pointed out, it is Lexus money.

Toyota, $53K, yikes.

If the Ioniq 5 is a SUV, I will start referring to my Passport as a monster truck.  I am sure my kids won’t mind.

The income figures you referenced is very common esp in California.

it is a rental, ever occur to you the previous renter, or renters, accidentally had it when they were out doing water activities? After all, it is Maui...

I’ve a love hate relationship with key fobs. Was in Maui in August and the minivan we got is key fob only. About 24 hours after getting the car, the valet told me the key fob is acting funny and I should contact Enterprise. I popped open the battery door and the whole thing is water logged and the CR2032 rusted

I am with you on that.  For the money, there are several more attractive and better built options in the next 1-3 years.

That and the tax credit.  Slim picking right now.

C’mon Hyundai/Kia, get it together.  Hard to convince my other half to spend $60K on your EV when poo poo like this shows up on the news.

The dude can get a brand new Sienna XLE or XSE with AWD for $43k before T&L. It check all the boxes, awd, safe, room for a growing family.  The car’s design is very polarizing, but hey, can’t have everything in life.

That is one sharp Ly-laz-logue.

My MIL has the plug in, and my parents drives a 2022 Limited. Great cars, just enough space for what they need it for, enough room to carry grandkids when needed. A very sensible choice for almost everyone.

Maybe the owner “wanted” to get everything total loss so he can start a new one...
