The Prius is a great choice. We have owned two, the 12 Prius V and 13 Prius Prime. Great cars overall, wish we could have kept them but couldn’t due to our growing family.

TSX Wagon. Always wanted one but couldn’t afford it at the time. By the time I can afford one, they stopped making it.
Yeah, as a dad myself, if my kids ever say they want to pursuit this, I will support them. But like with most things in life, have a backup plan and remember, your mileage will vary.
I can see that. I guess I just can’t relate. Me and my folks moved here, started from nothing, and now my wife doesn’t have to work, two kids in private school, and about to buy a piece of property in Maui. Not trying to brag or say they don’t have a valid point, but having the grind while having a good attitude and…
Not trying to judge you but trying to understand your point. When you say us, are you referring folks under 30?
So many people chasing that social media fame.
Channeling my dad when I asked him why we can’t buy the car with X feature - “Son, that’s just one more thing that has the potential to break and cost money to fix”
Amen. Bought new in 2/22/20. Went in for service the other day and they have zero of my model and trim on the lot with no ETA of more.
I recently had two bad experiences with the same dealership in my area. You know what I did, I dialed up corporate and filed two separate complaints. Will it solve anything, who knows. Didn’t one of these burnt down while with a mechanic in the UK awhile back?
There is your problem. Most people out there can’t afford the higher payments but they want that shiny “fill in the blank” so they look good while keeping up with the Jones. These are the same people who go shop at the outlet for good deals but put everything on a credit card to pay over time.
At least for me, this is a grime reminder travel/destination suicide is a thing.
Mall speed bumps counts as trails, right?
Is it possible all of these “Tesla is wonderful” accounts are actually owned and operated by the same person who would have the most to gain when suppressing negative press?
There is a weekly Corvette meet up by my house, saw two recently. Is it a nice car? Yes. Would I like to have one? Sure! Should anyone pay $100K< for one? hell no
Lexus GS-F. A V8 rear wheel drive beast with high reliability.
Are people still surprised by this? Yes, at the very beginning, the platform was built as a social networking platform. But it has since evolved into a marketing machine and the only way marketing works is audience engagement, regardless of positive or negative.
IMO, if you live to get pass the front, the rest of the car ain’t that bad. I like the under floor storage in the cargo area.
I always thought its was user error...
