Old enough to drive a 6000lb wrecking ball on wheels but not old enough to be charged when driving recklessly...this is Texas for you.  I hope the cyclists hires a top lawyer and own this kid and his family in court.

Cyclist here and I am in the same boat.  For my 40th I did a 40 miler, all on the trainer.  Mind numbing, yes.  But doing so without have to risk getting hit and live to eat my cake later that day, it was well worth it.  Outside of the trainer, the only other route I do now is a protected 75 miles bike path along a

Good article about what is going on.

This!  I think the credit system was a way to help automakers make the transition.  But technology has come a long way and continuing to allow them to buy credits will just prolong both mass EV production and adoption.

The Ford dealership experience is a joke.  Dealer I went to wanted me to “sign papers” just for a test drive and decided to add BS items to the select trim so they can sell it for $10K over asking.  Yeah, thanks but no thanks.  I plan to order the GT directly from Ford and will only be at the dealer to complete the

Had a similar situation with the MME. Only one I was able to track down within a 20 mi radius was in a showroom and when I asked if I can test drive, they said I need to “sign” papers first, which caused me to LOL. Then they had the nerves mark up a RWD Select to almost $55K. Yeah, hard pass and I told the two saleman

Bad decisions all around.  With the kids in car, this is when you call off the chase and go into tracking mode and do arrest later.

On the same boat. I daily a mid-size 2 row SUV and already made the decision this is my last ICE car. Took over $60 to fill my tank the other day at costco, cheapest in town. Luckily, I ride the train to work and one tank for me last 3-4 weeks.

Sony - I have Apple on line one for your weekly “why are we doing this” support group meeting.

Truly amazing. Hat tip to the both of them.

Signals.

the high school bro that become a cop...

Bra-freaking-o, way to go Ford for standing up and making a statement!

Was in Yosemite in May and I can tell you from what I saw, probably 1 in 4 on AutoPilot.  Tell tale signs - drivers looking up at El Cap, both hands on camera taking various pics while car is moving, etc.

The report all but confirms what I already thought, which is it has already been too late. With two little kids, all I can tell them between now and when I am 6ft under is the previous generation collectively failed their generation. I am just as much of the problem as the next person, no matter how “green” we try to

From a fellow colleague/friend

People like this would race anything with wheels and a motor. Logic is out the window.

SoCal resident here too. Felony vehicular manslaughter has a max of 6 years, but DA will likely tax on extenuating circumstances (street racing, etc) for additional charges.  I think your take is correct.  Not to mention the civil liabilities.  Pure definition of “being owned” from here on out, by the law and pending

Bonus points if she had “Move Bitch” playing on the stereo at the time of incident.

Flexin’ in coach and on Frontier. Sit back down and stay down.
