The cars looked plenty fast to me, faster than Formula E cars. My only problem is too many of the cars have the same livery, so its tough to tell who is what and where. Maybe the series can get some sponsorships and diversify the paintjobs a bit, watching 3 cars with the identical livery battle eachother was

To each his own. I find FE unwatchable... and I have tried. I keep watching and hoping for it to not be horrible.  I will try again if they try racing on a real racetrack in the future.

i like the fact that they will change cars each race, but its going to make it very hard to recognise individual racers, i’d love it if they could all choose a distinct pattern for their cars so it would be easier to see whos overtaking who

I found that race more entertaining than any Formula E Race I have ever watched.

A City Ordinance makes me think that this will only be enforceable by fines.

I had a nuby game light for my OG Game Boy and I’m still not sure how I managed to see what was on screen. I would probably need the magnifier to see it today.

Ahh yes my favorite category of Deadspin article: the sport I have no idea how to play.

My house is the tallest structure at my address.

It should be “pay a percentage of list price.” That wouldn’t work because people would game the system, but this mostly hurts the likelihood of finding Good and Interesting ads ($500-$1,000 cars).

What’s shocking is that this generation is so willing to throw away the rights guaranteed them by the constitution.

Not to be a shit disturber, but I find it kinda insane how many “drift” articles are published here when, I’d argue, it isn’t as popular as Overlanding which is not covered as extensively.

It bothers me when I can’t drive to/from work with my windows open (or with them shut with the vent fan on) without getting a mouthful from some toolbag smoking while he’s driving while I have my kids on the truck.

Thought it was a modded Ford GT actually.. and far as your comment.. “..it’s  hot..” well, let’s see what happens, shall we?

Long as you’re not concerned with individual packaging, this is a bargain:

I don’t see any value whatsoever in this proposal. How many people are DDing their Miata in areas that get snow? I did for two years and never once wished for AWD or more grip in general. I got a decent set of winter tires and had an absolute blast in the worst weather that we had had in years.

I have a huge quarrel with modern head rests. They all have this forward slant that forces your head forward and down. If I get in an accident it will probably crush my neck vetebrae.
It was so bad on my 2012 Subaru Outback I had to turn the headrest around so it faced backwards - and then it got way more comfortable!

Never knew I was supposed to drive in Heels. I will go out and get some

I am absolutely saying hes an idiot.

There are fewer better poster children for shitty automation than self-checkout. I have literally never, as in not one single time, successfully completed a checkout at a self-service station in a grocery store without having to call a human employee over. And it’s not because I’m an idiot. Or not entirely, anyway.
