Why the hell would you drop your sandbags for qualifying for a 24 hour race? How much of an advantage can a few grid positions at the start possibly be? Which begs the question how many of the other teams, potentially including ones which got a performance boost, are playing the long game and still haven’t dropped

I suspected something was up this morning on Vortex when I saw at least three threads talking about how stock ride height and OEM wheels were the best because they were classy and understated.

Someone stole my precious 89 MKIII Supra one day. Wife and I drove around all day looking for it, but I gave up and decided to buy another that same day. So I did! Took home a 92 with a known blown headgasket and I parked it right in front of my wife’s 86.5 Supra, removing the battery and spark plug wires first.

Wouldn’t it have been simpler to just PhotoShop the original picture?

I went through the article again, and now I see where I got caught up. I was under the impression that the “opposition” was the EPA, rather than the members of the Oversight Committee of the House Committee on Science, Space, and Technology that opposed the new bill.

Let’s say you make a particularly obscure niche title, a historically accurate Revolutionary War FPS; so you only have 1 shot before you have to reload, and reloading is an involved process where you have to learn the steps and correct timing of keystrokes to properly reload your musket, all in the heat of battle.

Too many too choose from

and for honorable mention, since its outside the 20-year window:

Keeping it simple with the MP4/4.

Depends. How far can you punt a football?

I think this is an unnecessarily complicated solution to a problem that didn't exist. Bianchi's accident was a freak occurrence, and while some things should be changed (adding skirts to recovery vehicles, trying to keep said vehicles behind walls if possible, etc) this isn't one of them.

And FIA wonders why the 70's were considered the glory days of F1. Inventiveness has been replaced by anal-ness. The screaming of the engines has been replaced by an angry vacume cleaner, and the solution to all problems has been more regulations. F1 represents all that is wrong with society today. The over zealous

All I think of when I hear this is one of my favourite Futurama episodes "The Late Phillip J Fry"

I love indy, but the people running it are fucking idiots. They have the best Motorsports facility in america, right here, and they proceed to run shit ovals and SHITTY SHITTY city tracks where passing is impossible, and the speed differential is tiny.

Give me cota, and these shitty exs heads on a platter..... I would

Kind of sad for a site like Jalopnik to be bashing a rather cool vehicle like this. Yes, there are some shortcomings right now (the financial status of the company is going to be a given for anything like this), but the vehicle is not a bad thing by any stretch. I commute 50+ miles round trip in a Z51 C7 and I would

Did you even look into the helmet laws thing?

If you are lapping without EVER shifting the car, you are not using a FRACTION of its capabilities. This is the only thing keeping this idiot alive. He tippy-toes through the faster corners and stands on it at the exit. He can never pass on the straights because he carries no speed in the corner.

You missed the X-15 hit 4,519 mph (fastest manned flight in the atmosphere?) on a rocket powered by anhydrous ammonia and liquid oxygen
