My friend’s 10-year-old daughter’s favorite band is Queen. They’re eternal.

He liked Jello Biafra. And MST3K.

One of the best scenes that I remember to this day was when Coach McGuirk complains of his insomnia and Melissa essentially asks him if he’s tried going to sleep. Coach McGuirk’s freakout (i.e., “Melissa, you’re some kind of genius! You’ve discovered the cure for insomnia: just go to sleep! That’s brilliant!) is

Olyphant is definitely a standout, but for me, this last season in particular, the real revelation was Skyler Gisondo. That kid has incredible comic timing and delivery.

Yeah, except that the whole point of Burton’s films was to move past ‘60s Batman. Schumacher didn’t seem to realize that the characters even existed outside that show.

This hit me a lot harder than I thought it might.

They should go after the duo of DIK and ASS next, as there is no way two people could have that many high scores all across the country without cheating.

There’s a surprisingly big overlap between the people who believe aborting a fetus is murder and those who have no problem with sending mentally ill people to death row and defund health care for cancer patients. So. Screw those.

Huh? It was clearly meant to be a crappy place as seen by a kid, not actually crappy. Like documentaries are boring for a kid but he wasn’t being beaten for not watching them or ignored in favor of them.

I have recently come to the epiphany that Bob’s Burgers is a pro-introvert show. Maybe the most pro-introvert I’ve ever seen. There are SO many plotlines that are just, “I can’t believe I’m socially obligated to step out of my comfort-zone and interact with other people.” I think that’s why I’ve bonded to it so

Dude, you do know that Mel Brooks is as Jewish as can be and made an acclaimed comedy about Nazis, right?

Is this the only review on this site of SCD that you’ve read? Because Andrea’s reviews of other episodes of this show have been critical where deserved. So, seeing that there’s been a range of grades so far, I would think that it’s possible that this review was positive because, well, maybe the episode itself was a

What about Fight Club? Like the movie is purposely directed and edited; it’s sharp and clear, and manages to take you for a ride.

I dug the hell out of both, for different reasons.

The description somehow undersells the bizarre nature of the vagina subplot in The Godfather. Her whole arc is about how no man is satisfied with her cavernous vagina—except for Sonny Corleone, whose own freakish penis had never before encountered a woman who could handle it without agony.

Noted conservative, free speech advocate Ben Shapiro was prepared to comment, until he realized Hannibal Burress was a scary black man, at which point he clutched his purse tightly and proceeded to cross the street.

Also the wan string of comments on this review makes me nostalgic for the pre-Kinja AVC, where the Bob’s Burgers reviews would have 20-30 comments within an hour and they were all quotes.

I haven’t gotten around to looking for the widespread outrage from the conservative community about this clear violation of free speech, but I’m sure it crashed a few servers.

The perception of Billy Eichner is often reduced to his “yelling”, but he is, in fact, a fine actor.
