I am here for every retcon the movies do to the characters. So many character origins are just embarrassingly racist; Falcon started as a pimp for God’s sake. Change races, back stories, gender, sexuality. Make it good and I will watch. (Mostly. Dr. Strange is a dork and always will be.).

So many layers. Boseman was the Panther - wise, smart, self assured, humble enough to learn and grow and respectful of his warriors, and “choked” by Lupita (same). Also, a good big brother to the genius that is Shuri and confident in her abilities! And, an easy foil to her pranks like any good big bro.

This is definitely one of those movies that makes you think. When I heard the line “wise men build bridges while fools build barriers” was so damn relevant today that it was SCARY.
