Sharing in Win 10 has sucked I’ll say. Many times on my Mac when connecting to an smb share it fails, if I try the exact share but use cifs://VOLUMESHARENAME instead of smb://VOLUMESHARENAME it’ll connect up no problem. And yes, set all connections to private most definitely.

Agreed and even a new mobo isn’t reaaaly too bad. A High end gamer LGA 2066 2019-2020 board is less than 200.00 and his is probably older than the latest and greatest. My money is PSU or Mobo if it won’t “jump” start. +1

is it the onboard HDMI or external GPU? if onboard, toss in a dedicated GPU with hdmi and see if it works normally, then if it does you’ll probably want to replace the mobo since fixing the hdmi port would probably be more work that it’s worth and might not even be an option unless you know your shit and soldering…
