Absolutely the best thing on the list and best thing you can do for speed and performance on literally any platform (as long as the hardware will allow) Newer MacBooks aside....it’s soldered into the logic board.

YES! I do everyday. What’s helped me the most is a cloud based storage solution so everything is in sync from slim client to stationary home machine. I use OneDrive personally but anything that’ll sync automatically is truly awesome doing it this way. Dropbox of course is a great solution also and don’t forget to put

Agreed here also. I’ve had several macbooks in the past but nothing beats my Mac Pro full desktop with an SSD in it. Yes you can SSD a macbook pro too (SOME of them, the slightly older ones) but where my MBP dual core i5 would choke a bit, my PC (Hackintoshed) just begs for more because of the graphics card and full

Usually it’s a more popular thing among gamers because of “Travel” time and how hard you mash on the buttons.

Have to agree with the mechanical keyboard and SSD. I’ve recently switched to a mechanical but not FULL mechanical....it’s a Steelseriesby Apex. It’s hard to type on for me because I was membrane for soooo long but it’s been a great and welcome change so far. Also, SSD is hands down the best way to speed up a computer

If “moist” is what you seek, slather best foods mayo generously over the entire whole chicken and stand vertically over a half of can of beer, yes, shove the beer can up inside chicken and stand it vertically in pan before tossing it in the oven to bake at 350 for about an hour or so depending on the size. It’ll be

Great article but I simply A. won’t got to work next day and plan it to have off already, or B. won’t drink period if I do have to work the next day. I learned these lonnnnng ago. Once you hit 40 or so I think you know that drinking on a work night is a big no no.

“technically I was flown out to drive the Mini” sounds like he DID.

Can we NOT have a video popup on EVERY story please? Thanks.

No..THIS is a “Fitness Insider”

hmmm, I’ll try it. I always leave them at room temp for sure, because re-fridgerating them makes them lose their “sauciness” I think but didn’t know this either. +1

I bought brand new and financed my Xterra and while it was a decent investment and purchase I was VERY happy to pay it off at the end of the loan term but wouldn’t do it again I don’t think. It was more paperwork buying a new car than becoming the manager of a human life (conservator-ship for my dad at the time) and

I’ll be fine with it. It’s not like you up[load everything then get surprised with a fee, you know going in it’ll cost money once trials are complete like everything else.

me neither

not here I’m running the latest preview build with a 750 Ti 2GB DDR5 Asus brand on a 27” and no issues with screen edge. One issue that drives me nuts is after gaming it doesn’t go back to my original color settings so I have to open the nvidia cpl and tweak them back to how I like it. After BF4 anyways....

How so then? it’s an apop and is as basic as dropbox as far as integration, it’s not required whatsoever and would hurt nothing to uninstall it whatsoever. So what’s the harm? Link..proof etc. please.

To get my CHROMECAST THROUGH RECEIVER i HAVE TO UNPLUG THE DIGITAL AUDIO FROM CABLE BOX TO RECEIVER AND PLUG FROM tv TO RECEIVER, i THNK i HAVE IT WIRED WRONG, SHOULD i HAVE TO DO THIS? NY HELP WOULD BE AWESOME.....crap, sorry caps....

To get my CHROMECAST THROUGH RECEIVER i HAVE TO UNPLUG THE DIGITAL AUDIO FROM CABLE BOX TO RECEIVER AND PLUG FROM tv

Which completely obliterates the reason for LifeHacker and it’s “cause”. Thanks for not helping whatsoever. There is ZERO harm in this at all.

I LOVE OneDrive, it’s well integrated without hogging resources, you get 100GB (I have 300 because of a phone purchase) and it lasts until late 2017 for me. I have every installer and document I need but not locally on it. I love it.

Yeah Kinda figured. It’s not like one would notice a huge speed improvement probably anyways, just get an SSD for the OS if you want that, I’m leaving mine system managed and yes, turning it off affects Photoshop and other programs. +1
