Its been quite lovely up here so far. Mid-Nov. is when its really cold, I love having a true autumn and spring, but winter is ghastly. Making soups, stews and chilli in the winter is literally one of the only good things about winter as an adult.

Yesterday I did a Shredded Chicken Tortilla Soup which is a little spicy (added kidney beans) in the slower cooker for about 8 hours.
