Correct. Though it's not surprising when you look at the caliber of those involved in writing original, whereas The Knick is, well, expensive, good looking and competent. Nice soundtrack though.

This reviewer has the patience and generosity of a saint. The League has been total drivel for a few seasons imo.

Getting On was very low profile in the UK also. It's a shame because along with 'Grandma's House' which also passed without fanfare it is probably the best comedy we've made in a few years. Unfortunately idiots like Gervais shout loud and hard enough and abject drivel such as 'Derek' hogs the limelight.
