That's what I came here to say! But you said it already. Anyway, what was the show about? Wasn't it like a medieval setting or something? I was in high school and only remember it because they made a joke about it on MST3K.

I'm not even sure why I came to this review, but I just finished season 1 on Netflix and dang that last episode really put me off of this show. What a stupid, stupid, ending. Her husband was a homosexual pedophile murderer and like… they just reveal this to us at the very end? DO NOT even tell me "they dropped so many

This is what I come to AV Club for. Great interview!

Maybe it's just my age (I'm old enough to remember arcades and the first computers) but the whole Tron Legacy aesthetic really got to me—in a good way. The pseudo-cyber-punk feel, hacking, old technology, old ARCADE GAMES, Journey's "Separate Ways" blasting, Daft Punk, light-cycles… I didn't really care that the story

As a teenager my favorite stuff from the Division Bell was the stuff that sounded most "Floyd-y" but I don't really care for most of it anymore… I still will love classic Floyd forever, but after listening to enough music you really can tell that it was stuff they'd sort of already done before.

Well I get where you're coming from. Some men enjoy breasts and blowjobs no matter where they come from. I'm a hetero man so I prefer to know that the person blowing me has a vagina, but I'm just picky that way.

Yeah, but what if there are dual-sexed species that reproduce by only having sex with members of their same sex? I'm pretty sure these have popped up in Star Trek and stuff. Would they be considered gay?

That's kind of how I think about the post-Waters stuff, too. Dave Gilmour solo albums with some help from the band.

WHAT?! All these years and I've never heard of this?! The extra lyrics printed in the booklet finally make sense! Gotta find all of these now.

Reading that Pitchfork review actually felt great! After years and years of mentally defending The Final Cut it felt so good to read the words of someone else who really "got it." I'll just leave this here for anyone else:

I can't believe I'm typing this, but don't labels like "gay" or "homosexual" just reinforce heteronormative ideas about sexuality? In a fantasy world where there could be untold varieties of genitalia and sexes? How can an alien be "gay"? He puts his reproductive organ up the waste chute of other members of his

I don't know why it happened to me, but Final Cut gets a perfect 10.0 in my book. The Pitchfork review for the album is one of the few things on that site I can whole-heartedly agree with.

The video kind of fascinates me because minus the music it looks and feels a lot like any tweener girl talking head YouTube video of which there are hundreds of millions now. Is that what music videos were all along? Were they all just doing karaoke into a screen for an audience of anonymous millions? Who knew Britney

Awards are totally metal!

Points docked for "That being said"

THIS should be a sitcom!

I'm late to this but that Norm Macdonald roast of Bob Saget thing was perhaps the closest I've ever come to actually peeing my own pants from excessive laughter.

You might like Rectify, which is about a young guy who's been locked up since the nineties. It features the most poignant scene of someone playing Sonic the Hedgehog that I've ever seen.

Progressive thought = movies about women who will let you piss on them for money.

Not sure of this counts, but for some reason "Godzilla 2000" got screened in my home town in Montana, and the theater was full of young people and we just laughed at yelled things the entire time. Really a wonderful experience.
