It took me until I was about 23 to come to the epiphany that women who have any interest in me will make the first move (in fact, they had been doing it since Jr. high school but I was too dumb to notice) and that I should just chill the fuck out and let that happen.

I think a lot of men don’t like the idea of waiting until women approach them because they are scared to death that women just...won’t approach them. because they’ll realise they’re maybe not as attractive as they think they are.

I met my husband when he talked to me while I was was waiting at a bus stop with ear buds in. It is legitimately my secret shame because HEADPHONES ARE A CLEAR SIGN OF WANTING TO BE LEFT ALONE.
