Maybe it is different in Canada. In the US, Turo insurance is not secondary to the owner’s insurance. Your primary insurance shouldn’t even know about the claim.

Turo has it’s own insurance and in exchange takes a cut out of your rental. If you opted out of Turo insurance you’d need to have your own commercial coverage to be legal. Your personal insurance would not cover you.

You either use insurance provided by Turo or pay for a commercial policy. Pretty simple.

Keep in mind with miscellaneous fees you will probably end up at like 50 bucks a day for some econobox.

Just let people pick a preferences. Hide it 18 menus deep. Death Preference (high to low)> Myself/Other Drivers/Pedestrians. Then put them in any order you’d like!
