I am a credit card lawyer, and Amazon/Chase are almost assuredly non-affiliates. Affiliates are companies related by common control. If you limit non-affiliate sharing, Chase could still share information to Amazon to service your account - such as to add reward points. They probably wouldn’t share specific purchases…

Negligence is different than something just breaking under warranty. That being said, statute of limitations could be an issue if they can’t determine when any (if any) damage occurred.
