Yup, there was a girl who had one at a previous job I was at.  She was fantastic and in no way did her prayer schedule ever interfere with anything or anyone.

Not that old, but I had a ‘55 with no power steering. Your arm muscles get hard and strong from low speed turns and parking. I could parallel park that thing easy.

Also, the very large steering wheels helped with low speed maneuvering. They gave you more leverage.
