Was coming to the comments to post this myself. Was the most effective way of bringing them down since the primative gyroscopes they used would immediately send them careening into the ground once they flipped over, meaning it was easier to keep them from crashing into civilian areas than shooting them down.

Lol, yep that sounds about right. To hear me tell it, a bandit encourages wheelies like a drunk cousin, but yeah the busa’s far too comfortable in ludicrous speed for its own good.

Thank you for the information. :-)

Actually, it was mainly dedicated Griffon-engined Spitfires (especially the XIVs) and Tempests, with highly tuned engines and 150 octane fuel. They also used stripped out P47s and Mustangs, and Mosquitos (as above) on night interceptions and hitting them before they crossed the Channel.

Absolutely, if I remember right they flew Typhoons for these missions. Friggin crazy

Yeah, that sounds like prosopagnosia.

That is a cool kettle.

I love your kettle!

1. That’s not how “tolerance” works, you idiot.

These Sisters were doin’ it for themselves, amirate?

I’m pretty sure I used to work for you.

EVEN BETTER! I am no nickname expert, but I have to assume the torch was passed to all Tesla models.
