Oh, and the best ones are the vacuum-sealed pouches with the curry already inside.  Haven’t seen any of those in the US, but here’s hoping!

For what it’s worth, if you can get the powdered Japanese curry, they’re the way to go.  They don’t sit and congeal the way roux-based curry does, and you can obviously make them fresh each time. 

I like to put cooked Kabocha or Butternut squash in it, and let it dissolve into the sauce. Makes it taste a bit sweeter, and I can tell myself that it’s healthy for me. 

Just recommended it to someone else! I always try to have at least one box on hand. It’s lovely because you can be like “Man, what am I going to do with this beef in the freezer? OH WAIT SOMETHING DELICIOUS AND RIDICULOUSLY FILLING!”

Guilty pleasure. I think that stuff is pretty unhealthy. But YUuuuuummm......

A bit of both. I have a half moon and a sprig of lavender on my neck, and then a 666 on my hand that’s sort of a joke. I also have a full sleeve that’s nautical-themed. I’ve tended to take the approach of “I like how this looks” rather than “I like what this represents” save a few things because I’ll always like how…
