I haven’t seen it therefore it doesn’t exist. Sure, ok. It is the feverish clinging to 80's film, enshrined in our childhood memories being remade, with the cast being women. There were grumblings when rumors circulated about it being remade. The moment it was announced women would be the leads the internet horde of

I loved Eyes of the Dragon. And I agree with Insomnia. It was definitely out there, and could be frustrating. So I get why others may have issues with it. I really liked the main character, he was a true everyday hero. And the way the others manipulated people was very creepy.

I suck at short story writing. Every single one snowballs into a book, and even part of a series. So good on you for being able to do it. It isn't easy.

These days some of my favorite writing is on comics. When I looked him up I was excited to see he'd written comics as well as books.

My favorite King book, and probably always will be, is IT. I still have the well worn copy I read when I was eleven or twelve. That was the first book that ever scared me. All I have to say is, beep beep, we all float down here, and my husband shudders. He has a terror of clowns. As far as the Girl Who Loved Tom

I've never read Joe Hill. I'll have to pick up one of his books.

Being on set listening to him speak in that accent all day would be totally fine with me.

The Girl Who Loved Tom Gordon is one of my favorite King books. It was different from so many of his others.

As much as I like the cast and Feig's films I would have waited for the DVD, but I'm also going opening weekend. When the misogynists whine and yell it inspires me to throw money at their target. That's why I went to see Mad Max. Although, cards on the table, I went to see Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome when I was a kid.

I was just talking to my husband about the Judgment Night soundtrack. He didn't remember the movie at all. I told him that's not surprising, even with such a great cast the movie was forgettable, but the soundtrack was awesome.

Ah, if you read my comment you’ll see I said that isn’t us as parents. Fearful. But that stories like these freak me out. Not sure how that is instilling fear in children. In fact to another commenter I said we're teaching her to be wary, speak up, and follow her instincts, so not sure why I need to, for the love of

Awesome.

Thanks.

So sorry you went through that.

I adore your daughter and hope she goes into politics. We need her.

That is what I expect from an FA when you pay the unaccompanied minor fee. They've not only been made aware your kid is alone, they've been made responsible by their employer. The FA on your flight is what I want and expect for my daughter next month.

Always true and relevant. Love her. Watch The Ref to see her in a completely different, yet just as fun, role.

Yeah. As the mother of a 13 year old girl, I read that and it brought tears to my eyes. My heart broke for them.

I honestly wondered about that myself. When they offered to move him from the middle seat to another, and he didn't take the offer, why didn't the flight attendant find a way to move her? Not all men, I know that, but seats available all over and he decides to stay next to a child is big red flag. Warranted or not,

I missed that, holy crap. But the name fits then right?
