In a bizzare update to the Lucky Whitehead saga the Jet’s claim they have signed the troubled wide receiver to a one year contract. The Cowboys filed a grievance with NFL headquarters claiming that they had already locked down the rights to ruin his career and and objected to the Jet’s trying to ruin his life as well.

I was trying to be careful and not appear to be starting a fight with the regular posters on Jezebel. My only intent at the time was to point out that someone with knowledge of the settlement thought a lot of money was paid to the accused. Having quoted the piece I was obligated to provide a link to the source.
