This is a double edged sword -- I’m big on Haskins’ ceiling and think he could make a great improvement for the team almost immediately, but if he dies -- well then that improvement is short lived.

people’s perception of his play would have been much different<< exactly. That WAS a terrible decision by Jackson and it WAS bad football....it just happened to work out there.
Yea. Both throws included at the end of this article were objectively terrible QB decisions and neither were even good throws....and only resulted in ‘good’ plays because they just happened to not be picked off.
super-unpopular take (especially around deadspin, for some weird reason):...this is very similar to how I view Cam.
yea. We are not in the golden-era of quarter-backing.
Yea. I’m not a sparty fan, and yes it was a blown call— but the penalty had no bearing on how badly the kick was missed. MSU (especially at no.18 and in Lansing) has zero business being so close to Arizone State that a missed FG loses a game for them. 100% their fault.
[...4 years of being stuck in the middle of nowhere huffing jet fuel.]
Absolute bingo.
With advances in modern medicine and his level of income — it’s not unreasonable that he might continue kicking until he’s 200, 250 years old.
As a colts fan — a team notorious for being one of if not the most injury prone in the NFL (I think there’s data on this)— it’s a breath of fresh air, this year, to have our team devastated by understandable retirements instead of injuries.
ha! True ... but:
Heteronormativity is an asinine term. period.
Haha. I’d say when you (as a hall of fame fighter) are reduced to suckering the random, out of shape schlub that just knocked you out in a public street.... it’s probably time to hang it up.
The Kurt Vonnegut Museum is great. It is, however, definitely not substantial enough to plan an entire trip around. Very small.
Right.
See my take is this — I think we are at peak dilettantism in terms of the internet debating cliches and tropes in film... this will likely be a perfect example of someone (Scorsese) who is good enough at their craft to go straight down the isle of where you expect him to go..... and still come out with a decent-great…
A couple times I think. For Scorsese this is the definition of ‘staying in one’s lane’.
wait. what
HA! Weirdly, Indianapolis of all places, seems to openly embrace Brissett (who I assume will be starting all of our games after Luck returns up his bean stalk to fix his bones).
too soon.
