I remember reading about a stretch on gizmodo - ahh, here it is:

MakerBot Replicator, single extruder. I researched it a bit before going out to Maker Faire, and was impressed by their build quality, and how much support they offered. Plus, the coming fully-assembled thing is quite nice. There are much cheaper kit options, but I didn't want to have to deal with all that. I'd rather

Ehh, I do in fact know a couple people who I would quote my time and $90 an hour for. The good thing is, I can trade goods or services with a lot of my friends. I actually printed out some earring-sized TARDISes, and for help in painting them and with the hardware, a friend of mine got a pair.

I've been using a soccer bag for my carry on or checked-bag needs. It's big enough to carry a couple days worth of clothes, can fit in the overhead bin if I don't want to deal with checked luggage, but is pretty durable and fairly unique if I need to check it. And they typically have nice shoulder straps on them, so I

I just found that I tend to ignore most of the day to day posts, like how to make coffee better, or how to better manage your finances, etc.

I've pruned various sites from my regular checks over the years, and I need to do it with some more. Gizmodo got the cut a couple years back, and lifehacker is drifting that way - not through their fault, I just find that I need the day-to-day advice less, and the searchable advice more.

So, I just bought a 3D printer. And I'm making stuff for friends and co-workers. However, I'm charge a little for the stuff, because I believe my time is worth something (it's time I can't be printing something for myself, and I have to babysit longer prints).

Does Watchmen count? Quoted from the book:

Is it sad that I recognize his driveway now? As in, from the photo alone, I knew it was a post about one of Joerg's videos, before reading anything.

That's ... actually quite brilliant. OOOOH - I have a 'craft' table that my sewing machine and soldering iron and 3d printer live on. I could put a toolboard behind that, and have part of it be a corkboard. Mwahaha, thanks!

I've never used it - is it just something you pick up over the counter? I've wondered about using it on camping trips when I need to go to bed early/get a good nights sleep before covering a lot of distance the next day. Did you have any problems feeling drowzy in the morning, or anything like that?

Something to keep in mind - if you're sick and you stay home to work, you're doing the company a favor by not getting everyone else sick. Trust me, they'd rather you stay home than come in and give everyone else your kid's flu.

I'd personally doubt that, considering how much people from Boulder tend to get out into the outdoors. I'd guess more of a downtown Denver sort of person.

THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU! I have DD-WRT on my router, and the way the text is sized, I could never click on the tab that would let me reboot the router. Hopefully this fixes that, can't wait to try it!

Sorry, I meant to say that I googled a bit, and saw some literature on the subject.

Sorry, forgot about that feature. I actually seem to remember that episode. Anyway, I guess there are occasional problems like that. As usual, talk to your doctor.

Try looking at your county health department, I've known people who couldn't afford them were able to get them there for free.

Absolutely, it's not for everyone. It is a great option for a lot of folks who haven't considered it, though, and that's all I'm hoping for.

Also, for those who say it's costly, try hitting up your county health departments, I know a couple students who were able to get them for free.

All I ever felt was a slight poke, nothing problematic.
