@Hasteur: The best canned beer I can find tonight (probably something by New Belgium), as I'll be floating a section of the Colorado river, and glass just ain't cool on a river.

@Vensaina: You know what's extra fun? Being the test dummy on the zipline (first guy down). Adds that extra bit of excitement!

@Jessup: I've heard "Nature's Miracle" works pretty well, though I've never had your specific problem.

@Ryan Westfall: Float Westwater (section of Colorado river out by Moab). It will be awesome.

Gah, I actually hadn't listened to one of those before. That actually is pretty good (much better than the original).

@Imfromthenet: When I have kids, and fly, I will definitely be doing the same. Ear plugs are cheap. Good will is priceless. Honestly, if she'd asked, I'd have carried her bags off the plane for her, I was that impressed with the thoughtfulness and politeness of the gesture.

@FriarNurgle: I know. If it wasn't practically bigger than my whole house, I might get it. Oh, and it's a refurb.

Never mind the Woot OFF! going on.

@farcedude: Also, forgot - $20 and a change of underwear in the secret pocket.

@danjordy: The only thing I don't like about it is the 'hipster' label that goes with it. I just got it because it hauls a ton of stuff comfortably on my back.

Good god I feel old. And I'm still IN college.

"Backpack": Chrome Metropolis (I think that's the size)

@babyruthless is MzJenkinsless: This. I have ongoing intestinal issues, and when nothing else sounds good, gatorade can at least give me some calories to work with.

@Josh_Geyer: Yeah, bout what I figured. And as coldfuzion said, way too much.

@sip: Heck, I just thought of it myself. At least we don't have them on chains. Yet.

Not being rich, I've never particularly looked at watches of this class. So, how much do they run?

@sip: Same here - I want to own a nice one that looks good on a wrist in a suit. And the rest of the time I'll look at my cell phone. It's like we've gone back to pocketwatches.

@pvcrisp: If possible (I don't know if it is) you might want to work with their IT department directly, and really stress the "if I can access their data, they can access mine" angle. Good luck on that, though, as they'll most likely think you're stepping on their toes.

@Kraken: I know a local credit union here (in a college town) offers a bike loan as a way to build credit - they'll lend you $500 at a reasonable rate, as long as you can prove you use it to buy a bike. They get to look good (and get money back on their loan), you get a bike and better credit.
