@koali: Make real strawberry ice cream, if you have something to make it in. Trust me, it's worth it to make the real stuff.

@Lord_Cathbad: For an interesting view into North Korea, read "Nothing to Envy" by Barbara Demick.

@hewhoroams: That basically sounds like what I need - so what do I need for the domain controller?

@pkl007: I know they make mesh netting to keep birds out of fruit, you might look for something like that at your local home and garder store. We use it to keep the birds off our strawberries.

@retrac: Probably a selection a local brews, might be going to a mini brewfest tonight/this weekend.

@ablative: Keep detailed packing lists for each box.

So, you know how in college computer labs you have one login that works on all computers, and somehow authenticates through a server? We're looking to do something similar to that here at work on a much smaller scale (~5 windows pcs, mix of xp and 7). Any particularly recommended solutions? Thanks!

mmm, anybody want some G-23 Paxilon Hydrochlorate?

@QoB: Me neither.

@jdmcd: Creeping Socialists!

@minjin: That ... is a shame. Truly.

What amazes me the most is that people have been all the way down to the bottom of the Marianas Trench. I'd known that before, but hadn't really gotten an idea of the scale involved.

@eien: CF cards also use wear leveling, so it's really only a matter of time. If you're a casual user, it's probably not something you'll ever worry about.

@xrmb: At work we have actually worn CF cards to death, using them for constant read/write/erases, which is why we do something like what is described.

Where I work, we have a system that uses CF cards as the HD, and we do this for out frequent read/write processes. Works great!

@blehbleh13: I'd like to see you cart around a real foosball table by yourself - most likely giving yourself a hernia in the process.

@blehbleh13: Where and when? (although I must say, my skill was very specialized to that particular table, so I wouldn't be surprised if you beat me).

'You say, "Hey, we'll just play one-on-one," and the game still sort of works?'

@jdmcd: Something like that would actually be pretty cool. Make a line of them, with like Chairman Mao, and Lenin, and Stalin, and I bet you could actually make some money.
