Isn’t it though? I’m not in the camp that thinks that celebrities are automatically fair game just because they are famous, but when you post something to Twitter or Instrgram and don’t make it private, aren’t you expressly soliciting public comments? What if the author of this post complained that we were talking

posting a picture IS a solicitation for public comment... or do you not know how social media works? She’s more than welcome to turn her account to private and remove anyone who she doesn’t know personally... but I’m taking a wild shot she’s not interested in that.

Actually if you post on social media to the public, you’ve already decided the image was remarkable. By some measure, remarkable. So people gonna remark.

Then make a private account, or don’t gripe when people interact with you on social media, which is literally its only intended purpose? I think her critics are busy-body know-it-alls, but it’s hard to argue you’re not soliciting comments when you post content on social media.
