It really reminded me of the Sherlock Holmes film with RDJ, with the whole "rising from the grave" thing and the creepy cult. I had a brief moment where I forgot they weren't connected at all!

Such a beautiful album! I didn't hate Ceremonials, but HBHBHB reminded me how missing her Lungs sound was from Ceremonials.

My personal top 15:

I'm so ashamed to say I am really behind on that show, and haven't seen that episode yet :'( It's the same reason I don't have a Rick and Morty up there, I've not yet seen the most recent season!

Good point, haha. I just really thought the Pilot was so wonderfully striking that it was one of my favorite for the year, but mannnnn the show had such a strong lineup, with better episodes from their building up.

My personal Top 10:

I literally just finished watching that show for the first time last week. I saw it on Netflix, but it only had season 1, and practically threw a party when I saw there was a season 2. At least it ended in a pretty solid way!

Intentionally. 12 Monkeys and Dark Matter have been delightful though

SyFy's not been too bad recently, tbh.

Let's be real though, that Lorde cut and that Lion Babe cut are incredible. Not feeling the rest of them anywhere near as much though.

Now that would be fun! A perfectly normal retreat with vague religious undertones, featuring dramatic zooms in on crosses, bitter critique of the concept of praying before a meal, and a showstopping Christmas Play in July, commentated in realtime by the documentarians in denial.

Them doing a take on Jesus Camp would be insane. I'd love to see them do something with all the Food documentaries as well, like Jiro Dreams of Sushi or another foodie classic. Finally, I really want a crazy Nature documentary a la Grizzy Man to show up.

Twilight Galaxy or Blindness would likely slide into the top slot, with whichever I'm not liking as much that day being in 3rd. Both of them are pretty much masterpieces in my eyes.

That song remains my second favorite Metric track of all time. It caught my ear with the musical side of things, so bouncy, but the "I was lookin' for a hooker when I found you" line made me really pay attention to the lyrics. Fantastic.

Incredibly. Wikipedia has informed me we're getting a 2nd prequel entitled the Fever Code.

God, I still can't stop laughing at the Divergent book titles. So awful. Of the "popular" YA books, I'd say the Maze Runner is fairly decent on the titles of things, with The Maze Runner, The Scorch Trials, The Death Cure, and The Kill Order as a prequel book. Nothing special, but not trying to force itself into some

Makes sense in context of the book. The location they're in is called the Scorch due to the fact it was scorched by the sun flare that caused all their issues. The characters are overcoming a trial in the Scorch, thus Scorch Trial.

I watched this episode back on Thursday and am still shivering over Dolarhyde's attack on Molly and Walter. What an absolutely chilling and incredibly done scene. Everyone on this show is beyond top notch.

Well, season 3 went a lot deeper into the magic, and they've been saying season 4 will go even further. Worries me a lot less with that in mind, especially since Flash + Arrow are the same universe.

Easily one of the best summertime B-movie miniseries though. For being on a network, the show continually impressed. It's no Hannibal in terms of quality, but it took it's idea, stuck to it, and made it insanely fun.
