If you in your early 20's (still a very naive and impressionable age) and you met a 12 year-old who was struggling with their identity and their parent’s weren’t supportive, you wouldn’t feel like stepping in as a support system of some sort?

The film cost about a sixth or less than The Rise of Skywalker but grossed worldwide about the same amount of money give or take a few million (no-one’s quite sure). I think the chances of some sort of follow up movie were quite decent after that. Star Wars not quite so much.

I still love Louis but I don’t care much about his filmmaking career. If the film is well-reviewed, I would consider buying or renting it from his website but I wouldn’t see it in a theater. Hopefully he’ll get back to more stand-up soon. That’s all I want from him as a fan.
