Before Hef, no one gave a damn about naked women. In fact, they were considered a nuisance at the best of times.

That’s what they said before Titanic opened. That’s also what they said about Avatar.

Hell, GWB used a private email server and deleted somewhere between 5 and 22 MILLION emails, but did the right ever hold him accountable for that?

Of course not.

Can you imagine how the Right would have reacted if Obama or Clinton had done this? It would have been the mother of all shitstorms.

The bigger story here (though not surprising) is Alabama managing to elect an even bigger senile bigot than Sessions.

Brilliant approach! “By deleting these tweets it’ll be like those Men in Black flash thingy’s that wipe your memory. Nobody will ever know I supported Strange!”

Yes, God forbid his Twitter feed contain anything embarrassing, or disgraceful, or monstrous. Better get rid of that endorsement. Problem solved!

(Facepalm)

There will be no greater irony in our time than the Atlas Shrugged films, which preached “Let the market decide”, and the public rejecting them so hard they had to change casts for each film and fund the third one through Kickstarter.

Good call. Fuck ‘em!

He LITERALLY compared being a conservative in Hollywood to being a Jew in the Third Reich. I don’t think perspective or empathy is his strong point.

Why would he ever stop playing the victim? Playing the victim has been great for the conservative movement. They whine that liberals are biased, or unfair, or snobs eating caviar and looking down on the simple working folk, like the millionaire entertainer who liberal Hollywood keeps putting in everything, and who

Right? No job is permanent in the entertainment industry—he had a good six year run, and got a syndication deal (something not assured in Peak TV era). Maybe there were a couple of more years left before it was totally unprofitable, but most actors would kill to get “screwed over” the way he was here.

Even more hilariously, it appears to have been entirely about money. Note this portion of the article:

The show was on for SIX YEARS! That’s a terribly long time. It’s already syndicated on a number of a channels. ABC cancelled the show because they had beaten all the life they could have out of this dead horse. Stop playing the victim for a long running show coming to an end.

I love how it’s all about “let the invisible hand of the market do its thing” for these people and when it doesn’t work out, it’s some grand conspiracy that has to have occurred for a “likeable conservative character” to not be received by the free market.

Everything would have been just perfect for this legion of ineptitude if Hillary had just one. Then they could have kept screeching ineffectually while pocketing cheques from hate-filled millionaires and obstructing every move she made. Deep down I think they were looking forward to it. But damn it, they won, and now

Let’s not forget 2 key things that haven’t gotten nearly enough attention - 1) the GOP spent YEARS blasting the process by which the ACA was passed. They still do it! That process went through committees, hearings, public comment, honest negotiations to try to bring some GOP support along, extensive debate, 60

Is the ACA perfect? Gosh, no. But that’s not the problem anyway. The problem is that it was passed BY A BLACK GUY. For that it must die.

Except the GOP is such a clusterfuck right now. Yay! for clusterfucks.

This clusterfuck anyway. The less the GOP can get done, the better for America.

When are they going to have time to make all those 22 Jump Street sequels? I’m really looking forward to Flight Academy.
