Bojack often manages to twist around the obvious joke, and this time I appreciated that the clown-dentists did a 100% competent job of bugging out of Princess Caroline’s apartment and leaving it clean (aside from her defaced movie posters). Also, the dentists have gotten pretty good at acrobatics and other clown stuff…

At least you started to realize it. I never put it together until Princess Carolyn described how it was her coping mechanism, and I practically begged the show not to cut to the credits.

I was wrecked by this episode, what else is new. When she revealed she actually had more than 2 miscarriages I really didn’t see that coming and it hit hard. Amy Sedaris is so wonderful in this show it’s my favorite thing she’s done (Mimi Kanasis in Kimmy Schmidt coming in close second) but she just nails everything…

When first watching this I bought into the framing device. I thought, “Ok, even if things look shitty now Princess Carolyn had a family and everything worked out because that charming cat girl is talking about her”.

With that said, the scene where Princess Caroline flicks on the lights to see the apartment full of clowns was also the greatest visual gag of the entire season. I could. not. stop. laughing! Bit of an emotional rollercoaster.
