Yeah, that seems like a pretty good summary. She's acting like Madonna, minus the past period of cultural relevance.

I wish Chloe would stop trying to make Chloe happen. It was annoying enough 10 years ago when she was insta-revelant (back when hipsterism was still passing itself off as "real" and "happening") and then she made the blowjob movie and a bunch of sub par tv.

Also, just in case anyone is seriously wondering:

So women should be excluded because men cannot control themselves nor conduct their behavior appropriately?

Don't you dare diminish our responsibility for our own actions, we aren't overestimated in our self control we're under punished and excused in our lack thereof.

Target has, HANDS DOWN, the worst plus-size offerings of any of the mass-market retailers. KMart is better than them. WAL-MART, of all places, is better than them. They're just pitiful and always have been. It's very sad to see.

The problem is the lack of variety available. Your sense of style is largely irrelevant when there aren't enough options to be creative with. There's no good reason most of the really cute styles you see in the rest of the store can't just be made available in larger sizes; we're well past the time when we have to be

Did you also have a problem with Don Cheadle portraying a Rwandan person in Hotel Rwanda? Hey, wrong African!

They don't make shapeless sacks and folded tablecloth tops for thin girls, though.

Maybe it's my perspective as a short, plus-sized gal, but why the hell does anyone make palazzo pants for the plus size? Don't those make you look even broader?

Well, like I've said before, I identify as a minority (despite people on this site wanting to strip that from me for their convenience.)

Thank you for posting that. I haven't seen this show yet but having been active in Native communities before, I always pro "ask an Native person" about this kind of thing. White people really like to be offended on their behalf but most of the Native people I've known have a really great (and often dark) sense of

The thing that has been bothering me most about all of this critism and backlash is that nobody has seemed to bothered AT ALL to go to the minorities targeted to ask what they (we) think, and instead just getting outraged on our behalf. It's ridiculous and erases our autonomy from the conversation.

Jackie's parents are awesome- the line about the airforce is one I repeat over and over, and Titus living life as a werewolf is just perfect. The humor is a little edgy, but really not more than 30 Rock. It clearly has the same pedigree, but I think 30 Rock's high profile and bigger starts got it more leeway. Tracy

I really think all the racial stereotype jokes come around, even Jane Krakowski Native American thing. I am a little uneasy about that particular plot line and I think they could have done without it, but they bring it back way later in the series and I think tie it together ok. I think the joke about the litter was

Who are these people?

His two star review was of chinese food:

For me it crosses into that grey "can't press charges but abusive" area.

I feel this article is kind of pandering to this one very opinionated asexual, you can't let one person define a sexual orientation. The original article spoke in person with several a sexual people, just because their feelings didn't match up with the posters doesn't mean they were wrong.

I'm so there with you guys. I kept rereading trying desperately to understand what she felt was wrong and what she thought was correct. And I just frankly could not get there. I'm a pretty smart person. I get nuance, but I was not following this very well.
