That looks like a great size. I’ll poke around a bit more and see if I can find one to rent.
Honestly, that’s exactly what I’m hoping for. A pretty decent experience. That at least means I’m doing the right thing and gives me no reason to be suspicious.
I’ve never booked through Avis, so I’ll check them out more closely. I don’t want any surprises with having to carry this many people around for a month.
Good to know re: Amex. I need to ask my CC company what their international rental coverage is.
Thanks for the advice! Due to the apparent rarity of this vehicle size and class, I will be making arrangements via calling or email with the branch I’ll be renting from ahead of time. We’d have the rental for a month, so I want to make sure it’s the right one.
Ok, so now how about keyboard switches?
What’s your switch of choice? Clacky and satisfying like butter pecan? Or slightly grainy and bumpy like cookies and cream?
The organist said that the organ in ND is a rather poor 19th-century instrument and its loss would be no great tragedy.
I’m listening to a recording of the grand orgue (with Pierre Cochereau at the helm) and choir at Notre Dame. At the beginning of the album they ring the great bourdon “Emmanuel”. They only ring that bell during big events: coronation of kings, visits from the Pope, during times of sorrow and drama and such. It was…
This makes me sick. Just recently St. Sulpice had a small interior fire. It was quickly put out and no damage was done to the main organ. The Cavaillé-Coll organs contained in both buildings are extremely important to the organ world. I was planning to visit both next year. I’m hoping for the best and that no…
oh my...... this is fantastic. Impala? Great photos btw
These ARE dumb. Seems like too many compromises and not enough upsides. Flat tow, trailer tow, do anything other than try to cram a too-small car into a place it doesn’t belong. Do this instead :-D
I wouldn’t mind test driving one, though I think it will be too tight for 7 passengers. My old boss has an Ecoboost and fully loaded version. Maybe I’ll stop by...
I’ve driven enough Econolines over the years to steer clear completely, even drove two different Ford custom vans in high school. If I go full-size van, it will be a Transit.
I found a Yukon XL 2500 in Colorado with 3 cloth bench seats. 9 passengers! Looked like a unicorn.
Awesome, thanks! I love saabkyle’s videos. The sheer detail more than make up for the cheesiness.
