Yeah but how exactly is it stumbling? You WWII was filled with mass violations of the Hague Conventions (America slaughtering thousands and thousands of Japanese citizens with atomic bombs for one) just like every other war.
I think this is an interesting discussion to be had, and I myself question whether we should be playing war games based on real events. Having said that, I don’t think this is a case of Battlefield “stumbling” more so than any other reality-based shooter. Using BF1 as a starting point for this discussion is wise, but…

The article is a pointless attempt to grasp at straws. The real story here is that BF1 has a compelling single player at all, shattering expectations set forth by DICE’s previous failures in that regard.
