As happy as I am to get another Mass Effect game, especially since a lot of veterans are back on board, I wish it could’ve happened without people immediately ranting about the damned indoctrination theory again. Like, one of the first comments I saw was a 6-paragraph rant on how this basically made the theory…

There are some valid points here, but I would never, ever recommend Inquisition to anyone. Not just as a starting point, but in general. It killed my enthusiasm over and over again until I finally struggled through to the end on principle.

Man, 2020 really hit you hard if you actually liked Origami King’s obnoxious puzzle battle mechanics.

If you like competitive battles, it introduces an item that lets you switch a Pokémon’s ability to its hidden ability, but to get it you’re going to have to go on a lot of Dynamax Adventures.

A Dontnod game with less superpowers and more realism kinda sounds like a Bioware rpg without romanceable companions and more planet scanning.

Technological problems for Deadly Premonition are acceptable now, because we can look back and blame the comparatively less powerful systems it came out on.

I know we (By which I mean publishers, gamers not quite so much) are all super into the games as a service thing, but this feels like beating a dead horse.

Soooo...The tanuki girl...does she also get the gigantic scrotum when she transforms? I mean, it’s a Trigger show, so I wouldn’t entirely put it past them.

While I’m relieved to hear they managed to at least fill Midgar with enough interesting story material, the combat system remains a complete turn off for me.
