Right. By stupid, I mean that fans who want more from that character than what was presented are barking up the wrong tree.

The little kid from Batman Begins?

UUUUU-LAAA!

But still they come!

...or because it was the only way they could have satisfying sex.

“Doorway” is the very polite way of saying “Giant Sphincter.”

I kinda agree with you.   With these Disney+ shows though they are saying they are more like limited series that tell one story.  So it may work.  If this takes off maybe we get more Solo stories.  Or maybe some Lando stories.

I absolutely and unabashedly adore the Solo movie and I don’t give a shit who knows it. Despite today’s announcements, I’m holding out hope that young Han gets a series of his own, a tie-in to one of these series, or another movie for Disney+. The cast they assembled is too good to go to waste. Especially Qi’ra

I’m more than happy to be contrarian, but I’m far too lazy to be edgy.

WMD! WMD!

It’s also woven into the thin, wispy baby hairs on the almost-nude other 85% of his scalp, to make it stay in place.

Exactly!

They took the ultimate “blue collar” hero who has to deal with all the bullshit the rest of us normies have to deal with, on top of being a superhero, and gave him a billionaire Uncle and a government agent benefactor.

And the thing that pisses me off is that they were very much setting all that up in Civil War but then they just completely pivoted away from it. His room is barely furnished (and it will always annoy me to no end that it’s a COMPLETELY different set in Homecoming even though that’s supposed to take place like the

I really, really wish they’d have just reversed time with the snap too and maybe kept Morgan as she is per Stark’s wish.  Cause they are completely glossing over the sheer chaos that the snap would cause... and the chaos the returnees coming back would cause.  The snap would be the biggest disaster in human history...

I get why they didn’t to do another origin, but man his is pretty important to his character. At least give me a flashback or something? And where is my “With great power comes great responsibility” line. Peter is who he is because of Ben not Tony.

It is kinda bad, though. One of the cool things about Peter Parker was he was the “blue-collar” hero of the Marvelverse. He was the most relatable superhero of all, because he had normal, quotidian shit to deal with on top of being a hero.

I love Holland’s Peter Parker. I think he’s maybe the best Spidey/Peter Parker we’ve had on screen. Whereas: McGuire excelled at the Peter Parker stuff and Garfield was better at the Spider-man stuff—Holland’s great at both. But I think you’re ultimately right.

It’s not Tom Holland’s fault, but the MCU Spider-Man has been a major letdown for me. He just lacks the necessary emotional weight and relatability — he’s basically a sitcom character. You could easily put him in one of those ABC comedies.
