Best villain in any RPG, imnsho, is Romeo Guildstern from Vagrant Story.
You know what's funny is that Mass Effect was the only title in the series with a good villain. ME2 the villian was.... ?? the baby reaper? The collectors? There wasn't really one. and ME3 feels much the same way.
Ever played Vagrant Story? Game has about the best story of any game, and the best villain in JRPG history.
Psh.
Well put. It's as if after nearly a hundred years of scientific "innovation" and countless debacles concerning introducing insufficiently tested technologies into the world would have no impact on how people look at new technology.
You can fix the screen tearing by forcing Vsync and tripple buffering in your GPU settings for the game. It runs fantastically on my system.
God I hope not. Macs have their advantages, but tying PC gaming to Macs would be pretty horrible, close to another console entity due to how Apple controls their platform. It would be a smart business move for them to make, but if people think PC gaming is expensive now, Apple PC gaming would be 3-4 times more…
Lone Survivor was scary.
Crossworlds, is what it's supposed to be.
But at the end of chapter 1 he says something like "thanks for siding with me" after he "helps" you near the end...
Vagrant Story actually doesn't take place in Ivalice. Similarities and references are just meant as a nod, not as it being part of a larger canon. (I looked this up a couple weeks ago).
There's an article by Patrick Wyatt, just slightly down the page talking about how Warcraft was clearly inspired by Warhammer, how they considered trying to license GamesWorkshop's IP, but decided against it after the bad experiences they had in the past using DC licenses to make games.
It seems that Whooping Cough doesn't have a very high mortality rate. Worldwide it looks like it's .6% of those infected. I'm guessing / betting that it's closer to zero in the US.
NBC doesn't seem to get it. They haven't had a good drama since... well ever. They see the "formula" it seems, or think they do: the wire = Gritty Crime Drama, then they try to mimic it, but they change the format from long form epic to short form "everything is wrapped up in 40 minutes" Southland, which felt like…
I think these complaints are pretty trivial. They sound like complaints from someone who went to the moving hoping to not like it, and ended up grasping at justifications that supported their pre-determined conviction that it was a bad movie.
Nope, he had to go to every cafe in France every day, Randomly, until he ran into Alfred. I mean, in a world where software exists to "wipe" your identity, there can be no other explanation.
He's saying the common criticisms of the movie are somewhat ridiculous, excessively nitpicky, contradictory and ridiculous. That is why people are "upset" about this "opinion."
I don't know if I'd call it a fairy tale ending. You had Walt essentially as "the bad guy" winning.
Thank you for posting this. There is indeed a fine line between criticism and proposing censorship (even if it's self censorship). Also, to suppose that the only content which is "good" is "that which does no offend anyone" is an exercise in futility.
