You forgot about prostate cancer.

It's interesting that this doesn't mention men. Before I get "what about teh menz?!" groans, health care is an interesting topic. Women have more things to pay for, for sure, and costs for women are obviously going to be higher.

This article actually says nothing about men. But the assumption is easy enough to make because women have costs associated with gyno exams and childbirth that men have no analogous costs, and additionally, women are more likely to see the doctor when they have a medical problem than men.

You know that is a fucking awesome idea for a character... holy crap.

Go buy it. Chances are it will be on sale on steam this week. You will have enough time to play it before BL2 comes out.

This is kind of an OK study, but the first half seems less useful. The way I always heard it is that when people are coming up with a lie they tend to look in a certain direction.

Bastion is kind of like terraria. Everyone should own it. But I can't blame it for not being on the list yet because I'm pretty sure it will end up in an indie pack or with its own steeper flash / daily deal.

Terraria! (If you're ok with cartoon violence and cartoon horror for your son).

Indeed. This blog also needs some Starbound love...

Your screen name exposes your bias, Toorum!

Walking dead games:

It actually has a really neat narrative. I got it when it was released and enjoyed every minute of it.

I thought it was normally $10, they accidentally listed it as $2.50 in a steam sale for a daily deal, then switched it back to $5.

I had the same problem. I thought it was $25 an episode until I looked on the PSN Store and saw the SEASON PASS was $20, and that it was essentially $5 an episode (discount for buying in bulk).

Seconded!

As a steam sale vet, I think the strategy is this: Buy the first page "daily" deals (and the new community choice deals) every day when you see a game you want pop up. Then, on the last day, you buy anything that didn't pop up on a "daily deal." I mean, I thought this was common knowledge!

I think you just described PC gaming...

Monopolies rarely favor the consumer in the long run.

EA, bringing the console exclusive wars to the PC.

I like Daenerys because she's the most dynamic character. She goes from being meek, and cowed by her brother and afraid of her husband, to loving her husband and relying on him for his strength, to finding her own authority and leadership at the end of the series.
