The first Mass Effect is actually pretty smart, IMO. It serves allegorically a lot of themes that are pretty interesting, and it has one of the only interesting choices in the series. Along with some other fairly interesting choices.

It's good that he's narrowed "dumb" to artistic, and narrative elements of gaming. Which I guess is somewhat agreeable as "dumb." Hell, it even gets stuck on the narrative and ignores the whole aesthetic aspects entirely.
I uh, think you got your north and south mixed up.
Then why would you be willing to shell out $30 for an expansion?
Yes, it's funny that the most often included feature in Kinect into "core" games is the voice commands aspect. Something a $100 perhiperal is hardly necessary for... It's essentially acting as a glorified microphone.
That may be but I remember seeing a similar "0% off" after other weekends with other games which were free. But, IIRC usually they were also discounted (sometimes heavily). The Clash of Heroes might and magic game is one of them that comes to mind.
It wasn't that it was on special. It was that it was a free-play weekend for MW3 this weekend.
So what's the verdict on GW2 for all the people in the open beta weekend? Has it justified the hype? Anyone that's played both GW2 and TERA mind to compare the two (or just the combat)?
I still don't understand why they have hands down, the best, most intuitive and high quality character creation tool in EVE online, when you literally can play the game without seeing your character's face.
Ahh the joys of digital.
There has been no WRPG with an "epic quest." It's always a somewhat meaningless task that 90% of people ignore with impunity throughout most of the game while they wander the world searching for caves filled with vampires and other such nonsense.
He is pretty much the "token" black character. Kind of sad. He doesn't even appear in like half the episodes.
She's (as an actress) good in this show. She's just really not a likeable character. I think she's completely believable though...
What?! 28 Days Later was fantastic as a "serious" zombie movie. And Zombieland was fantastic as a light hearted zombie movie. Shaun of the Dead was pretty good too, though it was mostly parody.
I don't know. I still like 4 characters: Glenn, Maggie, Hershel and Daryl (to a lesser extent). And to a lesser extent, I still kind of like Rick.
Love the show. Haven't read the comics. Knowing you get all 5 eps for $25 makes this seem more reasonable. Still I'm backlogged now, so not sure when I'll get this.
Music is really important in JRPG's. I still think my most memorable gaming moment, stuck in my mind for some reason, is the opera house scene in FFVI. For some reason I can still hear the "lyrics" that you sing even though they aren't words. 6 Did a similar thing with the music linking, re-playing the opera house…
The stock has still posted net gains of something like 20 cents per share.
So I finally got ME3. It turns out they ruined my favorite class, the sentinel, by making tech armor worthless. I just don't understand why they would make such a bad "signature skill." How disappointing. It was really fun playing in ME2.
