It wasn't a cameo.

There were two gay characters on the show - Scrooge and BJK. What are you talking about?

Fair enough - I appreciate my thoughts are not the best articulated, and there's nothing worse than an armchair TV quarterback. But I think it would be good to see the Neal that was so good at what he did that he had the best of the best of the FBI chasing him. This Neal could be fooled by pretty much anyone, it seems.

I'm coming to the end of my love for this show, I think. Neal continues to be played easily by Peter, and Mark Sheppard, and probably Bridget Regan too - when was the last time he got one over on someone else where it wasn't revealed or overturned by the end of the episode?

I pray that Kenan will leave soon, but he knows this is the last good job he will ever have. I guarantee, five years after he leaves, no-one will remember him even being on the show. The only way Kenan leaves 30 Rock is in a coffin.

I've long since come to the conclusion that my taste and that of the reviewer will never mesh, but so be it. I think Kate McKinnon is a good recurring character away from being a monster-sized breakout star, but to say her tired teacher was the best thing about that sketch indicates you fell asleep in the middle of

I don't remember De Niro being this bad when he hosted a year or so ago, but boy could they have done with using an edited take from dress rehearsal.

Strongest episode for a while - I feel like Mark Sheppard should get his own show, as I'm actually getting tired of seeing him in every damn show I watch. I enjoyed it all, even if I am bored at how Neal never ever gets the better of Peter.

It's been a while since I've read a Newswire, and it's good to know O'Neal's shtick hasn't changed one bit. I wonder what your brief from the AV Club is - "now, be as rude as possible to everyone who doesn't advertise with us, but be sure to be as unfunny as possible". Mission accomplished!

I'm pleased I wasn't the only person who noticed that - it's like daylight rings just aren't an issue any more in Mystic Falls. Enzo did have a ring on, I think (blue), but it definitely wasn't the same as Damon's sunlight ring. Still, I don't suppose they all have to look the same.

There's also a bit where…Stefan?…picks up that full syringe at the end of the episode.

I don't know if anyone else picked up on this (and as it's a week old, no-one will read this) but the algae-drug is a Slusho tie-in. The special features of the Cloverfield blu-ray talk about the algae they found, how it's a Slusho ingredient, in its pure form can be a drug, possibly helped Cloverfield grow up as big

The problem this show has always had is that Neal never wins. Peter is always one step ahead of him, or even when he's not, Neal gets caught almost immediately. I appreciate, Peter's supposed to be this amazing detective, but Neal's also supposed to be an amazing thief / conman. The show's too desperate to not show

Hold on, you brought it up first!

I think it's assumed, but I'll wait for better confirmation than a VH1 recap.

It was a good episode, and them changing the format (two cases, House fixating on finding out about the kid's death) was a fresh one.
