I'm aware of the existence of homophones. I was pointing out that Gordon referred to Dent as "Counselor", as opposed to "Councillor." Given that Dent is in the DA's office, this is an appropriate appellative.

Counselor: a lawyer. In other words, Harvey Dent.

While I agree with most of the points Oliver raises about this episode, I do have to point out that Cobblepot offed the guy because the manager said they were at full hire. The shoes were just a bonus.
