People who supported Trump based on jobs don’t understand how the world economy works. They must think he can single-handedly reverse globalization and return jobs to the US from China, Mexico, etc.

This kind of thinking is what bothers me.
“Trump supporters voted because of jobs, not racism, sexism, homophobia!”
“Cool, so we can keep supporting the marginalized/calling out racism, sexism and homophobia, while supporting economic development in rural communities?”

Im genuinely upset equally with anyone who contributed in any way to electing him TBH.

I haven’t seen an NHL player’s parents this excited about him making it big since Jack Johnson made his debut.

It is super ironic that the narrative is now shaping up that apparently liberals’ desires to prevent racism on college campuses so triggered Real America (tm) that the working classes who hadn’t been to college fled into the warm safe arms of Daddy Trump....

On election night MSNBC (other than Rachel Maddow) was quaintly referring to “traditional values held in red states.”

It’s really inaccurate for multiple reasons. Both my parents are basically hippies. We were raised to value coming together as human beings, not promoting and legislating what drives them apart. They need to speak for their own families, because I’m damn proud that it’s not mine.

Some families are more valuable than others!

People are wishing for the failure of his policies, not for the failure of the country or the office. If he can just exist for the next 4 years without doing much harm people will be beyond thrilled. It’s what he’s been promising that gets people apoplectic.
