Now that I found out that you can make "models" out of fossils and have a 15000bells piece of furniture out of 3 fossils that occupies 1 space in the house, I am no longer selling fossils and I am furiously collecting them.

The Vita does definitely charge while on USB while on... it just charges SUPER slowly. I only know because I've left my vita connected to the USB in more than one occasion and It charged throughout the day.

Zero Scape: Virtue of Last Reward... Got it for free on vita and Damn! That game is the only game so far able to make me stop using my 3DS for prolonged periods of time since Animal Crossing came out. It's just a fantastic game and I'm obsessed trying to get the whole story.
