Spot on. When the owners supported the Thrashers financially, fans came out in droves. When they said fuck it, we’re only throwing money at the Hawks, the fans said fuck it too. Those two playoff games were insane. The entire arena shook with fans stacked to the rafters.

To be fair, they are very different quarterbacks. Williams is mobile and Trubisky is a pocket passer. This Tar Heel fan thinks Trubisky has a better chance of making it in the NFL as a qb than Williams (but he was still drafted too high, as he’s not had enough experience to warrant that pick, imo)
