Gun Monkeys? What’s that? Eh, I don’t care enough, I’ll just go back to playing FFXIV.

Judging by the video it seems less a “karma” system and more another thing to level up (like how the base game had the three skill tress for survivor/parkour/combat).

Yeah this game is great. I played for a few hours on Saturday and got 4 great clips from the game just from that.

It’s kind of funny, Dead Space 3 is one of the games I’d say does microtransactions well. The game is balanced around not needing them. You can even beat hardcore mode pretty well without using them.

They said the FOB system is completely optional and won’t really affect anything in the main game (mostly seems like it’s a way to get resources faster).

According to teh smartglass app I have 75 hours of launched time in that game. I don’t recall noticing any performance dips in that time.

Probably, I mean it’s going to be at a slightly lower resolution (upscaled to 1080) and Ground Zeroes ran really well (again at a lower resolution).

Though think about it this way. Since it’s an open world game with collecting resources and such, what better time to listen to the plot tapes than when driving around looking for soliders or supplies?

Outside community/friend stuff (because remember this will have multiple PvP modes and it sounds like a few “friend” features) PS4. I’m picking it up on Xbox One because I prefer to play on it and I know other people who use that console.

And account wide (rather than per character) I hope.

No, they showed this (including what it does to vehicles) a long while ago. It’s just that a gif of this recently hit front page of a subreddit on reddit.

I only bought it then because I wanted the Grimoire Card.

Why, I mean EA actually has been getting pretty good lately. I mean now I’d have to give shitty publisher award to maybe Ubisoft.

It’ll be enough for those. One problem I see is when Bethesda’s games go backward compatible, those save files get quite large and you NEED to keep multiple save files because of how buggy those games are.

Well, obviously it’s not perfect, so there’s the “catch”. I had a few problems with Nuts & Bolts (audio distortion and lowered framerate) and Kameo (missing models/textures).

Are you sure about that second point? Like I think Battleblock Theater didn’t have a save file but I still had my progress on XB1. I think some games save to your actual profile (which is probably why your gamertag actually increases in file size as you play certain games).

But it never actually happened.

Which makes those examples even funnier since those publishers are listed as wanting to support it.

I don’t remember the Kinect thing because it was never true. From day one it ran fine without kinect being plugged in and the thing even has a light on it that signals when it’s capturing video.

Some games do have problems unfortunately. Played Kameo earlier today and multiple alternate skins for the transforms were failing to load. Also Nuts & Bolts had some nasty audio glitches and slowdown when I tried using certain gadgets (specficially the cloaking one).
